Everyday Miracles

There is a path to Everyday Miracles.

Are you on it now? The name of this path is Project Management plus Personal Coaching.

Why should ‘you’ care about project management?

That’s a fusty old phrase. Why am I talking about the “power of a personal project manager”?

Because whenever you’ve seen something man-made that makes you think “Wow!”… project management was behind it.

You just can’t work everyday miracles without it.

So, what’s this got to do with you?

Project management is a set of proven approaches to get us from Point A to Point B.

That’s it.

There are longer descriptions that might make your eyes roll back into your head, but that is what it’s all about.

We know what works!

The really, cool thing about the “proven” part is that we have so much information on what works and what doesn’t.

For example, one thing that we know *doesn’t* work is skimping on the “vision” phase to get going faster.

In software development, a good percentage of the defects that are found in the final product are due to a flaw in the initial “vision” or requirements.

That’s why, in your case, we start there and make sure we are clear enough to have something specific to aim at and something exciting enough to energize you.

What does it take from you?

You don’t have to be building a new building or software application to use project management.

And you don’t have to study and practice project management for years to get its benefit.

You just need to have ‘something’ you are wanting, some movement from point A to point B.

And you just need an experienced project manager working with you, so this knowledge and experience makes your success much more likely.

It doesn’t have to be complex.

Although I confess to loving project plans and to having trained folks in the use of complex planning tools, a simple one-page document or a set of sticky notes are often the best approach for what we are doing.

So, why should you care about project management?

If you have something you want to achieve, a sound project management approach is going to get you there.

Just think of how it will feel to be on the road to accomplishing that dream, with your own personal project manager and coach.
