Mark Twain said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
Purpose.
It can pull us forward and give meaning to our lives. It can energize and motivate us. It is bigger than we are. We can also feel self-doubt and guilt when we are unclear. Do we have a purpose? Do we know what it is? Are we missing it?
Finding our purpose can feel complicated. And it can be. But one of the best indicators of our individual purpose is simple. What do we love? What energizes us?
It’s very much along the lines of “follow your bliss”. It doesn’t have to be about saving the world (although it can be). It can be about fostering dogs, creating poetry, being a good parent, being a supportive friend in your world.
What have you found to be true about finding your purpose?
